Request Account & Data Deletion

We value your privacy and give you full control over your personal data. You may request the permanent deletion of your SKAN PG & Homes account (com.skanpg.app) and all associated personal records using the options below.

1. Overview

In accordance with Google Play's User Data policy and global data protection standards, users are entitled to request the deletion of their account and any personal data stored on our servers without having to reinstall or keep the mobile application.

Once your deletion request is verified and processed, you will no longer be able to log in, access active digital tenant passes, or view past bookings.

2. What Data is Deleted

When your account deletion is completed, the following data is permanently purged from our active databases:

Personal Profile: Full name, email address, mobile phone number, gender, and profile photo.
Tenant KYC Records: Uploaded government ID proofs, company/college details, and emergency contact details.
Active Stay & Pass Information: Digital room keys, QR gate passes, check-in history, and biometric face check-in punch logs.
Device Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging push notification tokens and device hardware identifiers.
Saved Preferences: Favorited PGs, saved searches, and communication history with property owners.

3. What Data May Be Retained & Why

Certain limited categories of data cannot be deleted immediately due to applicable statutory obligations under Indian law:

Financial Invoices & Tax Records: Under statutory accounting and tax regulations (e.g., GST Act), records of financial rent transactions and GST invoices must be retained for the legally mandated period (up to 7 years). These records are detached from active accounts and archived in secure, encrypted compliance vaults.
Active Disputed Stays: If an active stay has outstanding unpaid rent or an open dispute with a property host, the account deletion will be completed after dispute settlement.

4. Online Account Deletion Request Form

Submit your request below. Our data protection team will verify your ownership and initiate the permanent purge within 30 days.

5. How to Delete from Within the Mobile App

If you have the SKAN PG & Homes app installed, you can also delete your account instantly:

Open the SKAN PG & Homes app on your Android device.
Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Scroll down and tap Settings & Security.
Select Delete Account & Data.
Confirm with OTP verification to immediately purge your account.
